Standing tall


Not sure what this plant is called, but it is a beautiful, bright Tropical plant growing in the Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo. It will be so interesting to see what the new Conservatory will be like when it is built. Major reconstruction, so I am going to really miss seeing everything for at least a year, I would imagine : (. I know it will be even more spectacular than the present one. Note: thank you, Amethist, for the Pachystachys coccinea ID! Much appreciated!
