Marshalsea prison wall

Dickens' father was imprisoned in Marshalsea prison for debt, from February to March 1824,for a debt to a baker. Dickens would then use this experience in his novel Little Dorritt.

East India Dock Basin is the largest remaining part of the early 19th century East India Docks complex. I am not sure whether the water levels numbers (I assume that is what they are) are in feet... HWW

Man on the wall

By contemprary british sculptor, Antony Gormley (born 1950). This sculpture is actually called Edge II, and can be seen opposite Eton College, in Common Lane. HWW everyone!
