Boadicea and Her Daughters - 1902

Boadicea - Boudicca - (d. AD 60 or 61) queen of the Iceni tribe, led an uprising against the Romans.
(according to Wikipedia) Cassius Dio - roman historian - describes her as "possessed of greater intelligence than often belongs to women." ... probably explains why she went on a rampage...

(selon Wikipédia) Cassius Dio - historien romain - la décrit comme « douée d'une plus grande intelligence que ce que l’on observe chez la plupart des femmes."... ce qui explique probablement pourquoi elle est allée saccager les romains!
