And, for 'Sight and Sound' I figure a song that includes a reference to Rust is appropriate :-) Therefore, I have chosen "Diamonds & Rust". Many moons ago I used the cover version by Blackmore's Night but it is now time to use the original version by Joan Baez. One of my absolute all-time faves :-)

Thanks for reminding me about her talent over the years. This has got to be my favorite song by her although "Love Song to a Stranger" is a close second. She is such an underrated artist. I just love her!

Thanks so very much, Karen :-) "Diamonds & Rust" and "Love Song to a Stranger" are total classics. I will never tire of listening to Joan. I hadn't seen this recent video; thank you for the link. It's a super interview. Joan is such a beautiful soul and talks so much sense. When it was approaching the end I thought "we are not going to get to listen to the song" and I was about to write a letter of complaint! Fortunately I then saw the link :-)) Marvellous performance.

I was reminded of a Joan Baez documentary I watched quite some time ago. I remember that as soon as it started I knew I had to immediately watch it all the way through. I have just found this documentary again and guess what.....yes, I have just finished watching it all :-)))
