In June 1937 the Rhododendron-Park was opened in Bremen as the first show and experimental/test garden. This park comprises the second largest Rhododendron collection worldwide and invites for extensive walks during the main blooming period in May and June. There are more than 2000 species of rhododenrons and azaleas that change the 46 ha site into an uncommon and spectacular riot of colour.

Patient Dragonfly
Not one of the most colourful ones but still... I liked her silvery looks. (And it's not so easy to catch a photo of them with my camera anyway). ;)

Pink-Golden Dream
From an extensive walk in our Rhododendron Park in Bremen some time ago. I haven't been too excited about taking new pictures there during all this rain... yet. ;) Some more pics will follow (I try to upload pictures I haven't posted on Flickr).

Relaxed
What a weekend! I took part in a Dorn/Breuss therapy course - and my back felt so airy and light afterwards. So relaxed! I didn't want to spoil the effect therefore I avoided the computer for a while... :)
