No, not by me but by my sister. Mother's Day wild flower bunch with tulips. :)

I had some business to do in another part of the town and passed by a cemetery. It looked park-like and inviting and as the weather was pleasant and almost summerly I decided to take a walk there. I felt enveloped in this lush may-green! A very beautiful and peaceful place, and one can walk for quite a while... I loved these old oak trees with their partly bare curved branches. This one streched its arms upwards in an almost worshipping way.

Es ist schon etwas her, dass Reinhard Mey "Es gibt keine Maikäfer mehr" sang. (Natürlich auf Youtube mal wieder nicht verfügbar). :( Glücklicherweise gibt es sie inzwischen ja wieder. :) Was ist das jetzt für einer? Müller, Schornsteinfeger, König oder Kaiser?

The day was not only disturbed by thunderstorms but also by a small drama. A carrier pidgeon tried to escape a craw and crashed against one of our windows. We tried to keep it safe when we found it sitting in front of our basement door where it moved to after having hidden for a while under our hedge.This morning it was still alive but died a few hours later. Quite sad. I still have to bury it... I was quite surprised when I found that it had two rings around its legs - as I first thought it was a normal pidgeon. So I informed the holder through a "man of confidence" of the pidgeon breeders association. - Poor thing. Nothing else I could do.

... what a re-mutation! (Or better de-mutation?) ;)

I couldn't help it - but I found that they have a kind of hungry look... ;)
