Früheisenzeitlicher Mercedesstern? / Early Iron Age Mercedes Star?

Or probably a prehistoric bottle opener?
In bogs at Smederup and Falling, peat cutting for fuel has uncovered an offering tradition that apparently was unique to Eastern Jutland. During the Iron Age, local people deposited hundreds of bronze rings in the bogs, which were considered to be sacred. In Smederup Bog, the rings were found around a wooden well, dating from the end of the Bronze Age. The significance of these rings remains a puzzle.
