Little Mushroom, So Tiny but Tall

About a week ago, I was up on the ridge with the dogs, and as we went along, I was looking under logs. I do this because there are many interesting things to find for my photographic subjects. There are many kinds of animals, but it's also a great place to find mushrooms and other interesting fungus and lichen! When I lifted up one log, I looked carefully and was surprised to find some tiny mushrooms, barely 1/3" in height! The sun was shining on this one and unfortunately the image is a bit contrasty, but you can see the wonderful fuzzy mycelium (root matter)! (By the way, if I'm incorrect on that that fuzzy stuff is, please let me know so I can correct this information!)
