New Cat-Faced Orb-Weaver!
This is the new, darker-colored orb weaver that has come to live on our porch! It currently has a body about 2/3" in diameter. So pretty! :)

I love the way you've processed this one Janet.........the textured background works very well! As always you've captured such minute detail with great skill :)

We've lots of orb spiders in our garden lately...........I have to say though, they're not so popular as your one! I often leave for work at 4am and getting a face-full of orb spider complete with web in the dark is not a pleasant experience lol.

They are neat! We get orb weavers in the family gardens.... Afraid they get quite large by the end of summer, though. =)
