275/365: "Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering on the autumn tree." ~ Emily Brontë

Such a crisp, blustery, pretty day it was! I decided to let our three dogs come with me as I took a stroll around part of our larger meadow, looking for my Picture of the Day. I first tried for a teasel picture, but the light was no good. It really is something the way the position of the sun can make or break a picture, and no angle or perspective could coax the image I wanted out of our stand of teasel, so I moved on. The dogs had a wonderful time nosing around as I looked at different subjects, and I ended up finding another tree with pretty fall leaves on it. Several different leaves caught my eye, but this one I especially liked. Getting this picture proved to be a challenge because the direction of the leaf was too high where I stood. I saw a couple of old stumps below, so I carefully clambered up and maneuvered my way between branches until I had a proper angle. I needed to lean precariously out on a branch, but all was well and I managed to get a nice set of pictures to choose from! :)
