Heart of a Pink Poppy

When I showed the full-sized image of this picture to Steve, he said, "OH WOW!! Can you zoom in so I can see the center?" And when I did, he said, "You HAVE to put up a cropped image if this because people need to see the green forest!" :D So here it is! :) By the way, notice the green pollen sprinkled all over the petals below! It is simply AMAZING to me how quickly these flowers put on their show. They have ONE DAY to make a statement, so at the crack of dawn, the pod pops open (right before I get there, of course! :D) and the flower immediately opens up and the pollen is exposed as the sun hits the flowers, basically saying to all the insects, "I'm open for business, come on over!!"
