Clayfolk Art Show!! This is Steve Kirkland: Golden Fractal Vase

This is Day 3 of my Clayfolk Art Show exhibit! I started with Lorene Senesac, and yesterday was Rhonda Hampton. Tonight's featured artist is Steve Kirkland. If you appreciate fractals (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fractal", you will go mad for Steve's incredible artwork! I have no idea how he gets the stunning color explosions on his ceramic pieces but I can tell you this much: they are IN....CREDIBLE!!! This vase is just one example he was showing. Jaw-droppingly gorgeous, people just sort of stood in front of his work and drooled. However, beyond his fractal-like glazes, the artistic brilliance of his non-fractal-like finishes are just as wonderful, with rich, wonderful colors and hues to appreciate.

The showing tonight includes 12 images. I know that's a lot to see at once but I really hope that you will look at all of them, because each and every one is extraordinary and breath-taking.
