Meadow Mushroom Taking a Stroll


[best appreciated at full size against black]
I found this fat little mushroom on the path I take from our granite valley up to the house. Admiring the warm tones on the cap as I took my pictures, I thought this friendly fellow looked like it was off on a walk and stopped to look at me before continuing on its way after I left! :)
