Moss on a Twig

Always on the lookout for an interesting subject to photograph, I was climbing around on our hillside below our ridgeline when I found this clump of moss attached to a twig! I thought it was rather unusual because moss is usually found on the ground, attached to rocks, thick branches or tree trunks--basically, wherever there's enough moistere and a place for it to get a good footing. A twig isn't really a good place for moss, but this one seems to be doing just fine! :)
