Return to Reno from Green Springs Inn, OR
Cock o' the walk
Free-range chickens at Green Springs Inn, near Green Springs Summit on Oregon State Route 66. My wife says she saw a gray fox also hanging around-- ;)
Mt. McLoughlin (9495 ft/2894 m)
Telephoto view north across Hyatt Reservoir. Mt. McLoughlin, one of the stratovolcanoes in the southern Oregon Cascades, is named for the Hudson's Bay factor who became known as the "Father of Oregon."

Mt. McLoughlin looks like a nice symmetrical cone, but that's as viewed from the south! There's a big cirque on the northeast side.
Location is that of the mountain rather than the photo point.
