NNev - Carson Ra, Hunter Lk Rd

An exceedingly rough Jeep road that begins at the edge of the Caughlin Ranch development in suburban Reno, and goes right over the Carson Range. It's a designated motorized vehicle corridor thru the Mt. Rose Wilderness area. On the west side of the range, there are several branches--I took the one coming out at the Boomtown Casino on I-80 just west of Reno. Aside from an hour walking the dogs, it was 7 uninterrupted hours of jeeping to go just 21 miles! That's the sort of mileages wagon trains got!
