A tiny settlement just west of Steen's Mountain. It contains the Frenchglen Hotel and not much else! It's the only lodging and restaurant for 50 miles or so.

More traffic than usual because of a huge wildfire (part of the scar from which is visible in the background). There were lots of firefighting vehicles about. Looking north.
