In the Carson Range immediately west of Carson City, Nevada. It's actually in the metropolitan area--Carson City is a consolidated city-county government. This is the only jeep road to the top of the Carson Range that remains open to the public. It is very steep and narrow, and I wouldn't want to drive it on a weekend!
