Sierra Nevada - Moat Lake

Off the main Virginia Lakes Trail about a mile south and about a mile in. There's no "official" trail, but a well-defined use path. When we were there, there were a couple of clear plastic-looking rafts out in the middle of the lake. I don't know what they were--probably related to a research project of some sort.
