Probably a desert bighorn, Ovis canadensis nelsoni . On the road between Empire and Sulphur, Nevada, south of the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada and a bit east of Trego Hot Springs. This is an unusual occurrence! Maybe this guy is still trying to find a territory. In any case, we were delighted to see him. The insert shows another view as he decided to move away.
