Showing both (a) nice reflections; and (b) how much the water level has dropped over the summer! Most of the sandy beach was covered. Looking south.

After having been (over)filled by the good winters, the lake has dropped about 5 ft (1.5 m) over the summer. These are willows that were drowned by the high lake level. Looking south; the inset shows a view farther north along the beach, highlighting the good reflections. Washoe Lake State Park, Nevada. It's nice having this area a couple of miles from my house! ;)
