Lake Genevieve

In the Desolation Wilderness, Sierra Nevada, California, about 4 miles in on the Meeks Creek trail. It's the first lake you encounter, and we didn't get much farther before running out of time! The trail starts at Meeks Bay, on the west shore of Lake Tahoe, and runs southwesterly, eventually joining the Pacific Crest Trail about 8 miles in.
