Flooded!

I'd posted a picture of this unnamed basin, which we call the "inner valley," before (left inset). That pic was taken in February 2016 when the basin contained a little water. Well, this year it contains an extraordinary amount of water, with the sagebrush and rabbitbrush flooded around the edges (middle inset). The basin usually dries up by fall, and during the drought remained completely dry (right inset, taken March 2013), but this year it may last the season! One of a couple of smaller basins is also visible toward the right edge of the photo (marked with a note). It's also usually dry but extraordinarily flooded this year (I'll post some close-ups at some point, assuming Ipernity survives).
