Looking NW out the strait. Dungeness Spit in the middle distance; the land on the left is part of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. The still water in the foreground is Dungeness Bay. We had extraordinary weather--too bad I got the flu! ;)

Thanks, everyone! Getting sick was particularly exasperating because we'd lived in western Washington long enough to _know_ how unusual the weather was! Ah, well-- And Clint, the bird photos come later, so unless there's retrocausality involved they can't be blamed! ;)
