Cascade Falls

Utah, USA. An outlet for Navajo Lake, which was formed by a lava flow dam. The water has found its way thru fissures and caves in the ridge of Wasatch Formation to the south of the lake, the Pink Cliffs, to drop directly into the drainage of the Virgin River, above Zion National Park. The orange-and-white weathering Wasatch Formation is also what Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks are eroded into, so the resemblance is not accidental!
