Meiss Lake

Another natural glacial lake. It's off the Pacific Crest Trail north of Carson Pass, in the Sierra Nevada, California. It's part of the headwaters of the Upper Truckee River, so it's in the Tahoe Basin. Yes, it's "Mice"--named after an early pioneer who was an immigrant from Germany. There's no "Katz" lake in the area, however! ;)
