I looked up the lodge, it sounds delightful.

It looks it--but, on checking into it once a few years back, it seems that all the lodges in this area are literally booked years in advance, presumably by the same regulars. A reservation slot is like an heirloom passed down!

Apparently its a quite popular area, there's a state park up in there where a campsite was something like $35, which I simply refused to pay (headed further east to national forest campsite).
