Snoqualmie Falls

In good form spring of 2014. Washington state, USA. The small flow coming out at the base of the cliff at the right is the tailrace from the hydropower installation on that side. The falls include a hydropower installation dating back to the late 1890s, when natural waterfalls were used to provide the hydraulic head. It is still in use, having been substantially upgraded over the years.
