MV Puyallup

A passenger/automobile ferry crossing Puget Sound from Edmonds (north of Seattle) to Kingston, on the Kitsap Peninsula, Washington state, USA. The Washington State Dept. of Transportation, WSDOT, operates the largest ferry fleet in the US and one of the largest in the world. It plies the waters of Puget Sound, so that effectively many of the communities around the Sound are part of the Seattle metropolitan area. We're looking across from MV Walla Walla, which is going the other way. Btw, Puyallup is a small city southeast of Seattle and Walla Walla is a city in southeastern Washington very near the Oregon line. Both names are of Native American origin.
