Virginia Range, Nevada, USA

Looking north toward Reno, which is in the valley below the mountains on the far skyline. We often take our dogs walking here. It's only a few air miles from our house--but on a serious Jeep track! (The roads aren't _nearly_ as good as Google Maps would have you believe.) But it keeps the area remarkably wild for being so close to the urban area.
