Cable destination
A couple of adits on the opposite slope of the canyon. New Moose tungsten mine, Twin Rivers district, in Summit Canyon, Toiyabe Range, Nevada. The tungsten mineralization (scheelite) occurs in altered limestone pods hosted in the Gold Hill Formation, which is mostly quartzite. The mine was active in the 50s or so, probably until the Federal government yanked the price supports.

That it is! Amazing they figured a small base-metal deposit like this was worth all this investment--
