Adit, Northumberland Mine

In the Toquima Range of central Nevada, USA. Currently inactive, but looks mothballed rather than shut down completely. It appears to be partly underground rather than only open-pit. This is the case for some other contemporary Nevada gold mines; once they got deep enough, they continue as underground workings.
