South Lake Tahoe/Tahoe Keys

An _exceedingly_ expensive area off Lake Tahoe, where each house has its own private boat ramp! Looking pretty much west. US 50/Lincoln Highway runs diagonally across the lower part of the photo. Taken from an observation platform on the gondola at Heavenly Ski Resort, which is open for rides during the summer and early fall. The Sierra Nevada is in the background; most of the visible high country is in the Desolation Wilderness.
