We hadn't planned on getting wet, so we bypassed this narrows! Washoe County, Nevada, USA, very near the California line. This was one of the emigrant routes--the Noble trail, IIRC. Rush Creek joins Smoke Creek a mile or so downstream.

Yep! The road bypasses this narrows. Presumably the emigrant trail did too!
