Bighorns, Zion

Thanks! They were right along UT 9 above the tunnel, maybe a couple miles east. They didn't seem too spooked by the traffic or all the people. I have heard that bighorns don't deal with people very well (in contrast to deer), but you couldn't prove it from this group!

Interesting--probably why they're used to people. I've seen groups around Lake Mead that also don't seem bothered by people.

Thanks! Zion's a spectacular area, but--like Yosemite--you need to leave the main valley to get away from the people!

I love your shot and not having a telephoto does not retract from the shot in fact it enhances it by showing the rocky surroundings !!

I was in Zion in May 2011.
