I arrived in McMinnville, Oregon at night and I wanted to be sure I could find the Evergreen Air and Space Museum before I went to stay at a motel.
I got to see the massive Hughes H-4 Hercules flying boat (The Spruce Goose) asleep in the closed museum.

With an enormous wingspan of 320 ft. 11 in. (94.54 meters).
If it were parked across a football field the wingtips would hang over the end zones.

There are eight of these 28 cylinder, 3000 horsepower, Pratt and Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major 4 row radial engines on the Hercules for a total of 24,000 Horsepower.
