Old Queen Creek Tunnel
Up until construction was finished on the new tunnel in 1952 this was the Arizona Route 60 tunnel in Queen Creek's Devil's Canyon just east of Superior, AZ.

this looks like one of the tunnels the wile e coyote goes through (while chasing the road runner) only to find that it is a wall at the other end.

but really, this is an amazing tunnel. image the work to create it. love this composition.

You'd have a hard time getting trucks through there. Let alone passing them in both directions!
That's why they built the new one.
