i just had to look at this bigger, didn't i. bats freak me out! (though it's cool how the bat is kind of camoufloged.)

Yeah, this type of bat can look kind of creepy with it's huge ears, flat snout and beady little eyes, but still cute in a way.

Many other types of bats just look like a furry mouse or gerbil with wings. : )

These are really great shots! This one doesn't seem to mind the disturbance. However, I look at bats like I look at a car wreck - horrified, but just can't look away. The most creepy things I've ever seen were the flying foxes in - of course - Australia!
