
Torgau 2015
Torgau is a city in Saxony, Germany. It was first mentioned in 973. The name Torgau is of Sorbian origin, meaning market place. It is famous for several things, such as the castle and the chapel which was the first Lutheran chapel designed by Luther himself. It was also the city were the American and Russian forces met at the end of the Second World War.
