Athens 2020 – Stoa of Attalos
The original Stoa was built between 159 and 138 BC by order of king Attalos II. It was destroyed in 267 AD when the Heruli sacked Athens. Between 1952–1958 the Stoa was reconstructed. It is now a museum of the things found on the Ancient Agora.
