Leipzig 2019 – Mustermesse
In 1895 the Leipzig Trade Fair developed the samples fair. Instead of taking all the goods to the market, only samples were displayed. Orders were delivered later. The general samples trade fair was stopped in 1991, replaced by specialised fairs. The Trade Fair grounds was moved to a new location in 1996.
