San Leo 2017 – Torre Civica

Little is known about this tower, it is assumed that it was built at the same time as the Duomo in the 12th century and that is was part of a fortification. Inside the square tower there is a round tower from earlier times. The rest of the fortifications were destroyed by Malatesta in the 14th century.
