Tiel 2015 – Flipje

Flipje was a mascotte thought off by a jam manufacturer in Tiel. Flipje became quite popular so it is now the mascotte of the city of Tiel too. Flipje is almost 80 years old, but he is still fresh as a berry.

Tiel is an old city in the Netherlands, it dates from 850–1100 AD. It was a member of the Hanseatic League. During the Second World War it was damaged.
