Drain cover of the „Overyselsche” in Santpoort

The Overijselsche IJzergieterij (translated: Foundry of Overijssel (= province in the Netherlands)) was part of the Koninklijke Industriële Maatschappij Noury & Van der Lande. Noury & Van der Lande was founded in 1839 as a paint factory. In 1913 they created the Overijselsche IJzergieterij as a subsidiary. The Overijselsche folded in 1941, but they already ceased production in 1927 after a cripling strike. This drain cover therefore must date from 1913-1927.
Noury & Van de Lande was one of the companies that formed AkzoNobel.
