Ode to the A5 Highway

This is about the shortest piece of highway in the Netherlands, offering a shortcut from the A9 to the A4 (or the another way around) without having to go the Badhoevedorp interchange. It was meant to alleviate the traffic on the A9, but that alleviation was short-lived.
The A5 is a wonderful piece of road because it runs parallel to a Schiphol-airport runway. If you are lucky you can have a little race with an airplane.
