Old Family Photos

Another one of the many childhood photos I am restoring that came from my mother's album. This one is of my sister Bridget and me (on the left), dated July 28,1968. I was 11 years old and Bridget was 8. It was taken in one of those booths you find at amusement parks.

My sister and I are sharing the project of restoring our childhood photos, so needless to say, it's been fun going back in time! This image was taken either July or August of 1958, making me nearly two years old at the time. One thing I love about looking at these photos from so long ago is that I can see my life from the eyes of my parents who snapped them. Another in a series of childhood photos I am restoring. This one was taken Thanksgiving Day, 1957. I am the baby in the center with my father looking over my shoulder. I was 14 months old at the time. Pictured on either side of me are two of my cousins who were also 14 months old.

I have been in the process of restoring family photos from my childhood this past year. In this image my sister Bridget (on the left) and I pose in a photo booth while vacationing at Asbury Park, New Jersey USA, August, 1968. She was 8 years old and I was almost 12 at the time. Sometimes you don't realize how much time has passed until you look at childhood photos!
