Week 7 (February 16-22): Tree Parts: Autumn Leaves

Since I am in the dead of winter, I had to pull a photo from the archives. It's actually my first attempt with selective focus. Considering I used a point and shoot camera to make this image, I was happy to get the ladybug in focus. Taken in Autumn, 2013, the leaves from this pin oak in my yard were turning a beautiful rusty red before going to the usual brown color, something that does not occur every year.
