Bondgate Tower
In the 1430s a wall and battlements were added to the town of Alnwick in Northumberland. These took fifty years to complete, with Bondgate Tower being finished around 1450.

Henry Hotspur
Sir Henry Percy, nicknamed Hotspur, was an English knight who fought in several campaigns against the Scots and against the French during the Hundred Years' War. The nickname "Hotspur" was given to him by the Scots as a tribute to his speed in advance and readiness to attack.

Restaurant Entrance
The restaurant is furnished with panelling, mirrors, a ceiling and stained-glass windows salvaged from the Olympic , sister ship to the Titanic , when she was being dismantled in Jarrow in 1936. The staircase is also from the Olympic . In the White Swan Hotel, Alnwick.
