This tombstone tells of Caeresius Augustinus, an ex-soldier, who suffered the loss of two infant children and his wife Flavia Augustina. Here they are shown much older, perhaps demonstrating their father's aspirations had they not died young.
Found in 1859 at The Mount, York. In the Yorkshire Museum, York.
