Six miles of Wilshire Blvd was closed for most of Sunday to allowed bicycles and walkers to enjoy the city of Los Angeles car-free.

Here, the Korea Center entertained passersby.

So lovely--everyone was smiling and laughing. Museums, businesses, schools, and churches along the car-free stretch of Wilshire were wonderful about providing CicLAvia special activities, tents with water and food, music, encouragement, help. The estimate is about 150,000 came out to participate, a big success I'm sure.
